The Busquets Domino

After Sergio Busquets announced his departure from a club where he has lived his 15 years of stellar career, there has been an alarming crisis emerged in the club. Due to the dependencia and irreplaceable status of Busquets. Barca are in panic mode where coach regards the signing of defensive pivot as an absolute priority.

Previously it was certain that Busquets going to renew his contract with Barca to stay for one more year, but before few days before his departure he changed his mind and decided to leave the club. Before his departure Barca wasn't planning to heavily invest to reinforce defensive midfielder position therefore targetted players were Sofiyan Amrabat, Guido Rodríguez and Dani Parejo. 
The uncalled circumstances completely change club's stance and replacing Busquets became an utter priority. Apparently there was always one player who was liked by Xavi to replace Busquets was Real Socioded midfielder Martin Zubimendi but club's board is not wants to pay his release clause €60M to a direct rival in the league and secondly neither Sociedad nor Zubimendi shows interest in leaving the club as they are on the verge of qualifying for UEFA Champions League. 

Then on 18th May Mundo Deportivo journalist Ferran Martínez reported that Bayern and German Midfielder Joshua Kimmich wanted to leave the club and want to join FC Barcelona and he adds that he would be more cheaper than Martin Zubimendi in accounting perspective. Later reliable journalist Gerard Romero too confirmed that player's entourage offered him to club and Barca were shocked by that and started assessing the situation, but growing rumours got tension and in Germany and German media immediately denied such rumours. Where Spanish Media still quoting him as number one target. In my opinion Joshua Kimmich is an "impossible" dream signing which is very difficult to conduct. But it's confirmed that the these two are the primary options.

This will take a big cash bag to execute such signing and as soon as this news came out that Barca are prioritising a defensive pivot signing upon a right back signing (which previously was the number one target). Toni Juanmatri from Relevo Jules Kounde is now open to leave FC Barcelona as he is not happy to play on right back position and he prefers his natural centre back position. It was very awkward as Kounde played the whole season at right back and never complained about his position, later many journalists confirm neither Kounde nor Xavi and Club wants him to leave but his entourage is pressurising the club to increase his financial demands and club if forced the transfer can consider any offer around above €80M-€90M and if the sale happens then Juan Foyth will become an ultimate priority on right side. 

But what I contemplate that this is an indirect pressure from the Super Agent Jorge Mendes to incorporate his client João Cancelo as Jorge Mendes was the person who facilitated the signing of Jules Kounde to Barca from Sevilla and has great relationship with Kounde's agent. But eventually Barca needs a BIG sale in June to incorporate new signings......
