Barca and Porto have reached an agreement for the transfer of Nico Gonzalez. The deal was already advanced few days back and now agreed. The fee is set to be around €8.4M. Barca also included a buy back clause of €30M valid until June 2025. The player will have a release clause of €60M for other clubs interested. Barca also retain 40% of the future sale. This means that the buy back clause is reduced to €18M for Barcelona. The player has signed a contract until 2028 at the portuguese club. The player was not a considered a DM fit for Barca level by the coach, hence the club decided to sell him and to have a future option the club included the buy back clause in the deal. Nico Gonzalez is a La Masia graduate an the club wish him all the best for his future at FC Porto.
